Vedemij has been in business for over 40 years. Initially a small mushroom grower, the company has since grown into a supply chain company that controls every aspect of its production process.

Mushrooms are all the rage, given the current trend for healthy and plant-based eating. How come? Because mushrooms are jam-packed with healthy, beneficial nutrients such as vitamin B2, folic acid, potassium and fibre. They are also low in calories, making them an excellent healthy staple.

Vedemij is one of a handful of mushroom growers that controls the entire production process of its mushrooms. This offers several benefits for (industrial) customers, including:

Our mushrooms are machine-sorted immediately after harvesting, in accordance with our customer’s specifications. We are famous for our customer focus, because we offer so many different options when it comes to sorting mushrooms. After sorting, we transport our mushrooms to our customers with our trucks to ensure they are always super fresh! Our mushrooms can be found in a wide range of processed products that contain mushrooms. They are preserved or frozen. They are used in soups, sauces, pizzas, meat substitutes, and are available in tins, jars, buckets, and various other types of bulk packaging.
